Locomotion forward and reverse are controlled by manipulating the main hydraulic motor using a standard hydraulic flow controller (see bunkclimbers comments to articulate more here).

9
Steering is a simple matter of controlling dual-acting cylinder(s), the control of which will be incorporated into the locomotion control, so pushing forward moves the machine forward, pushing backward moves the machine backward, pushing left moves the steers left and pushing right steers right.

We're thinking that with two large truck rear ends as axles, we'll have the included drum brake systems. It should be an easy matter to incorporate a manual master cyliner "like this":https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Power-Manual-Master-Cylinder-1-1-8-Inch-Bore,36760.html into the system with a way to ratchet and hold down the pedal for parking assist (like on the Ford tractor). Since there are no traditional steering components, all brake lines can be hard-line directly to the brake cylinders, with the only flexible line required being where the brake line crosses the articulation joint.
